I would like to specially thank the curators Ms. Bharati Kapadia & Ms. Chandita Mukherjee and KNMA for organizing such event.  Selection of the concepts and sequencing in such order was one important aspect of the entire programme. Kind of use of the medium by the artists is a ‘food for thought’ for me who is exploring the possibilities of the same. I would love to see more of such event in grand scale in coming time.

Mesmerised and enthralled by the curation. The weaver film by Navjot Altaf in fact made more sense post the discussion. Loved the Meera Devidayal’s evocative opening film as the metaphorical one on games. I took back with me so much that night.

Hi,
I am writing in to express my thoughts about your video “Cooking Concepts”, which I saw earlier today.
The video’s use of repetitive actions, and the slow formation of geometric patterns was very relaxing to watch. I could feel myself breathing slower and physically relaxing.
The cuts in each frame are nicely done, such that the flow is retained despite bring glitched.
The washes of noise also compliment the visual well.

Writing in to say that I really enjoyed Day 1 of VAICA. The event was well organised. Most importantly, the selection was very well curated. Looking forward to attending the other days.
